                                        MMA (Mixed Martial arts)

  The name says it all! You do not have to fight for a living, just enjoy the training. We work on putting the skills and techniques you are learning in the other classes and combine it all together in a fun, safe and challenging atmosphere. We do a lot of partner drills from mitt work to standup fighting to ground fighting drills designed to get you to be able to move better and transition from standup to the mat all while building your stamina. Also covered are solo drills like ground and pound, floor bag drills, transition flow drills, and mixing grappling with striking (don't forget, it's a fight, not a grappling match! )  as well as takedowns and throws to keep your opponent in your preferred  area of combat, whether standing or grappling. But also be sure to work on your weaker areas...be proficient in all areas of the game!
